Meet Dr. Kemp | Meet the Staff
I am a native of Calgary and have been serving the greater Calgary area since 1992. I love blending the art and science of orthodontics to give my patients beautiful and functional smiles that will last a lifetime. I am committed to providing the very best orthodontic treatment in a relaxed and friendly environment and my goal is to treat everybody as if they were members of my own family. I love seeing the increased confidence and the big smiles on my patients' faces when their treatment is finished.
Education
I received my dental degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, in 1988. I then graduated from the Specialty Graduate Program in Orthodontics at the University of Toronto in 1992.
Experience
I am an Invisalign Premier Provider, receiving an exceptional level of case experience and specialize in all types of orthodontic treatment for both children and adults. I am an adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta and currently teaches dentists that are enrolled in the orthodontic specialty program. I also provide treatment to handicapped children at the Alberta Children's Hospital who otherwise would not be able to receive orthodontic care.
Professional Memberships
I am currently a member of many local and international orthodontic groups, and in the past have served as the president of the Alberta Society of Dental Specialists and the Alberta Society of Orthodontists. I am also Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
Outside the Office
My wife, two sons, and I reside in Calgary where we enjoy all the outdoor activities that Calgary and the surrounding areas have to offer. My favorite activities are golfing, cycling, hockey, and spending time with my family.
